    Mosin Nagant M/39 receiver maker

    Hello all,

found this Finnishicon M/39 a while ago and saved it from being scrapped. VKT-made in 1942, all matching except for the stock, that has been changed obviously.
I was curious and wanted to know who made the receiver, but found just this number. Is it somthing like an assembly number?
Near the muzzle, between the upper ring and the front sight post, there are the numbers "61" and a lined-out "72" . I suppose these could be arsenal repair dates, but why should the "72" be lined out?

    Thanks to everybody in advance!

    T
