Can you ID this mystery Lee Enfield trigger guard?
Hi everyone,
I found in my parts box two mysterious Enfield trigger guards. They look almost identical to a typical No1Mk3 trigger guard, except for one thing - the location of the hole for the front trigger guard screw (king screw) is located about half an inch farther forward. What rifle would this belong to?
Thanks,
Lou

Thanks Steve - and people, please share this moment of laughter at my expense with me.
See, I thought I'd check for the obvious before asking the question.
Well, once again, Louis proves to the world that assumptions is the mother of all f*** ups.
After reading Steve's simple comment, I thought to myself: "Hmm. What if... What if I haven't checked for that one. I mean, the trigger guards sure look old, older than the ones I have in my No4 parts box... but could it be that...
DOH!!!!!!!!!!"
So there it is my friend, today's Homer Simpson Moment, brought to you by Lou The Pou.
