NRA sales rifle?
hello gents,
I recently purchased a SA 1903, serial # 626812.the rifle is in as new condition.I am assuming that its an nra sales rifle,but there is no nra stamp on the floorplate.is this unusual?can anyone do a srs search please?thanks.Patrick.

Most NRA sales rifles ended at S/N 624xxx. Most rifle sales after that serial range were to military officers and other individuals so qualified. Your rifle was likely sold to a military officer.

Thank you sir.barrel date is 5/16.jsa cartouche.would the SA national historic site have records as to who the rifle was sold to?

I doubt the SA NHS would have the sales records. Those have not yet been found.
