CMP barrel install update
installed my first CMP
17 barrel today, went very smooth, much nicer then the 03 barrels they offer,
one of the easiest barrels iv done in a while, lines were 1/8 apart before setting the barrel, used about 70 pounds of force to line it up,
front sight keyway looks straight...will finish ream and testfire in the morning.

That is really great to hear, as I will be sending you mine to install once the CMP delivers the new barrel to my door!

Good to hear,
Chuck:
I purchased one of the CMP
M1917 barrels, with the intent to have ready in case I purchased one with a shot-out barrel, or one of my existing M1917 needed a new one. So far, hasn't happened. Wondered how they'd work out. Thanks for your report. Semper Fi.
