There is something you don't see everyday, it is purple like the triggerguards on the bavarian guns.Early features I like it! Are you and the rifle still in Belgium
? I only ask because I have seen mounts like this on old German
hunting rifles.Maybe high quality custom gunsmithing and done in Europe? one of the real experts will chime in here.

I don't have a permission to store life guns so this one had to be officialy deactiveted. It's sad but that is the law in Belgium
...Getting a permision would take about 2 years so...

Its a civilian conversion to hunting rifle. That is definately a scope mount, but I don't know what make.
When they tell you to behave, they always forget to specify whether to behave well or badly!

another interesting thing to note: the slide is missing the slide-stop. looks like it was removed so it didn't damage the scope mount when it was in the "up" position.

I like the way the top of the slide has been bobbed so that it also doesn't hit the scope when mounted. I am curious as to the ejection patern with both a scope mounted and when fired without the scope. I bet the shooter gets a face full of brass!
