Threw up a quick photobook
I think it is a keeper, I have a three day inspection let me know if you guys see anything out of place. It is so goopy and sticky when you squeeze the trigger you can set it down and watch the trigger reset for about about 30 secounds, same with the mag catch.

Here is the way it broke down.
Appears to have been blued originally.
Barrel Inland 11/1942
Front Sight "N"
Rear Sight "S-"
Slide Early style "PI" in circle
Bolt "OI" Blued Flat
Hammer type B dog leg "H" Blued
sear "RI"
Trigger blued
Safety un-marked push button blue
Mag Catch "EI"
Type 1 Band un-marked
Sling Swivel=missing (anyone got one?)
screw= missing
Large circle "P" on back of stock
partial ordance on bottom of pistol grip
"OI" in channel
I am a little confused should I clean her all up or leave it all dirty and gooey? Any thoughts?

Curt, defininatly a keeper. I would clean it up and oil/lube as to make it function and shoot. It looks like the early spring type TH pin also. I have the same stock and markings on my M1A1
, but with a much later rebuild rifle. Like rondog asked whats the story? Thanks for sharring the photos.....Frank
