Almost an awesome deal
Once in a while unobtainium appears on epay and it did this week. For the price it was on ok deal but if the one guy did not bid at the last few seconds it would of been a $26 deal. Damn....
So can you guys pick out the gold??

Two are easy and two you cannot really tell until they are closely examined and were a welcome surprise for me. Unfortunately this collection only means that a rare girl was bubba'd in the past.

Is that the hinged front band you have in the middle of the second pic? You don't see many of them loose! I take it the sight ears match. The other two don't look strange to me. Is it from the earliest #4 rifles?

A waisted front sight protector and a hinged front band for a trials rifle/ early No.4.... Lance, did you honestly only put in a bid for $26??? Please say it isn't so ! As often as those pieces come up for sale, I personally would have set a bid for minimum of $75 and kicked myself if I had lost and not bid more..... sigh....

The set cost me under $120 but if one guy was 6 seconds late it would of been $26. Unfortunately they seller purchased left overs from a retiring gun dealer and the rest of the rifle is long gone........

Well done. Another example of how it pays to know, to really know, what you're looking at.
I don't...so can you explain the "gold" part of the two other parts not identified in earlier replies?

From the first pic you can tell that it is a trials front sight protector and a trials front band but the second two pieces of gold that one could not tell until closely examined were the trials middle band and the trials rear hand guard barrel ring.
