On the old Culvers forum was a man went by Terry in Victoria. He had an impressive collection of very nice Enfields that seemed to cover a good share of the Enfield models. He was Canadian icon

I believe. I enjoyed his many photos. Just wondering where he might be.

If I remember rightly he lived on Victoria Island in Vancouver. Last group of posts were that he had some health issues that he was able to get over and after that his posts became less regular. He had nice enfields that he loved.

That would be the city of Victoria on Vancouver Island men. I know, because I live there too. But I don't know Terry.

When you come out of the airport in Sidney (Victoria's airport) just stand at the end of the drive, before you turn onto the highway, and yell TERRY loudly. If he is out of the house he will hear you. He drops in to see John at the gun shop on Mill Stream Road quite often as well. The coffee pot is always on at John's

it is interesting ow people crop up from time to time on different forums under different names . Wheaty for instance - is that warren wheatfield?

I kept a eye out for Terry at the last Duncan gun show but he didn't show.
I think I have his email at home. I'll drop him a note and let him know he is missed.

I'm pretty sure he owned one or two of those no4's with the laminated fore ends, only it wasn't vertically laminated but horizontally, in 1/2 inch layers of short ends, much like the wood saving laminating we see more of these days. The rifles were hard to ignore and caused me double takes every time he posted the pics, they were of course in very excellent condition and looked great.
Yup, tell him he's missed.
