Carbine Holster on E-Bay
Seems a bit excessive to me.
WWII M1 carbine leg HOLSTER fits the full stocked carbine 1943 WW2 US ARMY | eBay
Not sure that I have seen pix of these in use by paratroopers for Normandy, but perhaps?
The "rigger made" thigh strap seems simply like a belt.......
Thoughts?

Lineman's holster....was made for the guys who had to climb poles to string telephone wire. Very few were actually issued. Many made, but few issued.
When they tell you to behave, they always forget to specify whether to behave well or badly!

Sold “Buy it Now” $545.00. Must have been a have to have item for someone or they bought the description.

Been seeing these periodically for years, but never with the "rigger" modifications (?!) or the story that they were popular in the Normandy jump................
The most I have seen one go for was about $250 to $300................
