Chest for Sale/ SwapBren Transit .
For sale of Swap, WHY? A VERY sound Bren Transit chest. Complete with Good Rope Handles, Both Hinges. One Hasp, Both Hasp Catches. SOME Internal wood Fittings. Both Brass lid chains. Has been repainted & was refitted for an MG34 at some point!
No wood removed from internal walls of chest. & apart from SOME of the positional Fittings missing. It is a VERY good project for somebody to make & refit the fittings that are missing. (IF you have the time!) These chests are becoming more difficult to source these days. Especialy at a decent price!
The wood is EXCELLENT on this, & although it would be a shame to do so. It COULD be canbalised for parts to restore another chest.
I would post some photo's of this. But I dont know how to do so, sorry! If you give me your email address, I CAN forward some to that.
