The safes are being burst open, I told you, you were on shaky ground.(now another eruption in the North Isle.)
It's an interesting piece, pity he has restricted it to NZ
only.
What other markings are on this action? unusual to see a stamp of that depth on the receiver, it would take a roll punch or be done in the mould.

You should buy it RJW you're making a 'killing' on your target rifle
i dont think the reserve will be very high as he listed with a $400 buy now to start with.

I wonder just how many makers and how many their were, other than PH and Fulton, who accurized enfields over the years on a recognizable. known brand, basis?
I see mine now has crossed 1000 views, amazing.
Unless something very wild happens I have to behave myself with the ol $, sad to do all this but I hope to stay in contact with the buyer in the future. Lets just say I greatly enjoyed being the temporary custodian and lucky to be able to restore some of its former glory somewhat. It should be a giant killer if she makes it back to the range.

I think globco was a canadian company and I don,t think they were into building SMLE target rifles. Anybody building a target rifle would not take the time to scrub all the markings.

Globe Firearms in Vanier (Ottawa) made sportered rifles. I do not recall if they had a trade mark stamp that looked like that.
The only possible way that it could be the same company would be if the body from a sported rifle was used as the basis for an older style target rifle. Somehow I doubt it.
