I've heard it's quite good. Given there's very little commercially available 8x57 surplus in Canada
, it's almost impossible to judge what "too much" would be. I think it's a reasonable price and would have bought some if I didn't have a lot at home already.
I was in Milarm last weekend and they only had a few cases left out front. Unless there's more in the back I'd be surprised if they had any left now.

Back in the 60's the only Boxer primed surplus 8mm available here was the Canadian
BESA machinegun loads made for the MG used on some UK
tanks. It shot great and was reloadable so long as you annealed the necks after first firing. I only used the cases for light loads so I can't say how well they'd have worked with heavier loads.
Guess all that ammo dried up long ago.
