Couple of Carbines and a Garand

    Hello,
This is my first post her at MILSURPS but I have been studying here for awhile.
I purchased these few rifiles from an old family friend. He has had the M1A1icon,M-1,And the M1D for over 45 years. They all seem to check out as far as numbers and proper upgrades except for the WInchester. LOVE all of them and they are in great shape. The M-1 is a Winchester made in the first serial # range. The only correct part on thte Rifle is the reciver. To bring it even close to as issued would be a monumentous task but, over the next few years I'm going to try and find the parts. M1A1 all inland except Barrel band as you will notice it is a Type 3. Hope you like them and I'll try and get more pic's as soon as I can.

    Very nice grouping!
When they tell you to behave, they always forget to specify whether to behave well or badly!

    BRITTURB,

Welcome to the Carbine forum. There is also a Garandicon forum. If you have questions, maybe someone here can be of assistance. We also have a search feature that can direct you to past threads about topics that might help or interest you.

You have a nice group there. But I think more pictures are in order.
