Quality Hardware to Inland stock?
I recently picked up a 900,000 SG marked Inland carbine. It has a very nice Quality Hardware high wood oval cut stock on it with the below pictured marking in the sling cut. Is it possible this was a stock made for Quality Hardware by RockOla that went to Inland. The stamp below the Q-RMC appears to be a sideways I. Can anyone shed some light on this?

According to War Baby by Larry Ruth, there were roughly 10000 stock when to Inland on approx 10/6/43. As to how they were marked, your guess is as good as mine. John

Date on barrel?
I have pics of RMC to I Type II stocks,
Also RSG and I Type II stocks to Inland.

Here's a pic of the ordinance wheel. The stock has never been sanded and is in excellent overall condition.
I'm just trying to determine if this stock may be original to this gun. If not I plan on parting out the gun, but that mark in the sling cut sure has me wondering!

Almost forgot, there's a circle P on the bottom of the pistol grip and the barrel date is 11-43.

100% it was accepted by Inland.
Knowing the build date of your carbine would be a big help, just to see if it falls near that 10-43 Rock-Ola stock delivery to Inland.
There mave have been other deliveries we haven't read about yet.......... like the RSG's to Inland.
Hang in there, please don't part out yet.
I know Marty from the CC has been putting info together on these Lateral Support Stocks.

I am now convinced this stock is original to the gun based on the Inland acceptance mark and the obvious Inland ordinance wheel. I'm just glad I stopped to inquire first. Thanks for your insight & input! I think the few later features that are on it were most likely field modifications. Oh if these things could only talk!
