LE No.4 Mk.1*
Hey folks. This is my first posting so I hope it's placed in the correct area. I'm new the the gun community and looking to buy a couple milsurps. One that I have my eye on is a 1950 Long Branch Lee Enfield No.4 Mk.1*. The guy selling it is asking $350. It looks to be in very good condition. The bore looks good and the bolt just needs a good cleaning. Seeing as prices can vary by region, I was wondering if this seems to be a fair price.

+1. $350 would be an excellent price for a 1950.

+2 Buy ! But be aware, it will not be your last. They tend to be rather addictive. No 4 will have you wanting a No1, No5 different makes different configurations etc........
You have been warned. Welcome aboard.

Urkie1979: Welcome and add my vote- that would be a great price in Canada
today. So great I would suggest looking at it carefully! However, the occasional good buy does come along. If you get it show us some photos.

That is a very reasonable price for a 1950 LB. The biggest problem with Lee Enfields in Canada
is there are so many out there, people don't give them much respect. Cut down, shortened and abused examples abound.
