Anybody ever see this mark before? Regards, Rick.

Sprague and Carleton, I believe. Not very common. Usually found on IBMs.
When they tell you to behave, they always forget to specify whether to behave well or badly!

I have seen SC-B before. But haven't run across yours. Looks like S & O, but could be S & C.

It looks like a S&O to me....but I find no matches in War Baby. The stock is USGI as it has a un-circled P on the wrist. Could it have been a post war replacement?? Regards, Rick.

I now believe it is a Sprague and Carleton, S&C as a CMP
member has one and sent me this picture. It is on this IBM 372xxxx and a dead ringer. I looked at the cartouche under a glass and it looks like a separate mark made the O from a C. It is documented that Sprague and Carleton made the first Birch stocks for IBM which were the first ones made for the M1
Carbine. The SC-B was the more common mark. Regards, Rick.
