Scout Regimental Telescope Questions
I found a 3-draw scout regimental telescope for a really good price and need some information. I got it because the previous owner couldn't figure out how to use it (he thought the lenses were messed up). Anyway, the scope has number OS 1616 SA and has the leather carry case with it. It is very easy to service (comes apart without tools and is easy for anybody to disassemble and clean. I cleaned the lenses and reassembled and took it outside to "play with it". It appears to focus by the position of the eye-piece extension - moving it in or out makes a clear picture - how much in or out based on how far away the subject is. I assume this is how these scopes operate - please confirm (or explain intended method of use).
Thanks
Jim

Thats it. The same as any similar type draw telescope, focus is by sliding the eyepiece tube in.
The Manual for the Tel Sct Regt MkIIs is in the MKL
