Might have been a hard choice for me walk vs ride. I would have to overcome my fear of falling off and being run over. Not many hand holds.

Good to know as I have not been there nor done that. The perch just looks precarious. I do know that walking for endless miles even without 75 lbs of gear gets old very quickley. Might have jumped aboard hand holds or no.

I see all those Carbines and always wonder WHAT ARE YOU THINKING? Oh, easier to carry? How nice. Wait until the first attack, tell me how nice and light your carbine is.
