Not a big sporter fan. That being said it seems well done. The vented forend, handguard is an interesting touch. Seems a bit like a modern interpitation of trials rifle mods.

I like the thought that went into the nose band and caps.

A very nice looking carbine ... and nice workmanship. Almost as good as my .308 No. 5 with Mark 2 trigger

Ouch, do people hear the word enfield and start twitching and reaching for the hack saw immediately, jeepers. I almost never see other firearms violated quite the same way the ol smle is.

If Kiwis aren´t allowed to do what they want with an LE, I don´t know who is

At least the Kiwi in question put a bit of thought into the mods. In the U.S. a hacksaw and a few beers seem to be all that is required.

All too true, and the scrap pile isn't a bad place to start to create a vision and there plenty of le parts around, it just seems funny that le seems often the main receiver of bubbas crude attentions, rather than say a mauser or 91/30, it must be a republic allergic reaction to the royalty in the uk system, lol, a component of the Enfield steel alloys.

True in general but a coworker brought in a 91/30 "modern sinper" kind of thing last week. I was quite ill when I saw the SA marks. The value of Finnish
captures went up a notch. I would have Given him a Russian
or two to have saved the Finn.
