Why a point of concern? They show no drag marks from the sear at this point...? It's just the way it was made.

On the third and fourth pictures showing the contact points with the trigger.
Are the contact areas smooth or rough?
Is there wear at those two points?
If those areas are worn or rough they could cause the trigger to feel rough.

There is a whole 'nother thread over in CSP
where the OP describes an apparent inconsistency in the trigger pull. He says the trigger behaves one way on the first shot ("sticky") and differently on each subsequent shot(not "sticky"). Very odd.
Perhaps he should try loading a different number of rounds in the magazine ( 2, 3 or 4) and see if the problem occurs with a partial magazine or or just the full load of five rounds?
The problem was not necessarily attributed to the mill marks they were commented upon as looking a little deeper than normal.
What also may be at work here is an accumulation of tolerances in a rebuilt, 100 year old rifle.
Regards,
Jim
