Great WW1 book find.
Found this old copy of the 'People's War Book', autographed by Canadian
ace Lt Colonel William Avery Bishop. So far a really good history of the war, and filled with excellent photos and illustrations. Just thought you guys might like to have a look! Any of our Canadian friends shed some light on Col Bishop?

The only Billy Bishop "ACE" I know was from right down the road from me.Owen Sound,Ontario, Canada
We have an airport named after him in Owen Sound ON. The Toronto Island Airport was renamed after Billy Bishop as well. Billy Bishop was the one who shot down the Red Barron according to different sources. If you Wikipedia Billy Bishop,he is indeed William Avery Bishop "ACE". An autographed book is Canadian treasure and a great find.
Cheers
Jerry
