Will A1 Buttstock fit Olympic Arms A2 Receiver?
Bought an Olympic Arms A2 that has a triangle A1 fore-stock. I would like to replace the A2 butt-stock to match the A1 fore-stock. Will there be a fit problem? Do I need to change the buffer as well? --TIA

There may be a spacer in the butt, just looks like a puck made of aluminum, but that's if there's a longer butt on it. Otherwise, there's no difference and they interchange perfectly...

Also, make sure you have the shorter A1 screw. If you use the screw from the A2, it will eat the rubber end of the buffer and can damage the lower receiver extension (buffer tube).

Do I need a stock extension to use with the A1 buttstock and A2 lower?

Depends which length you get in butt stock. I think they have four lengths, at least we do in Canada
...so, you may.

The A2 takes the longer screw and 5/8" aluminum spacer. The A1 only uses the shorter screw. On an Olympic Arms.
