As usual I peruse the Commonwealth and other versions of that site that might hold Lee Enfield gems hidden away. Today I stopped by AU and typed in "Lee Enfield".A grand total of 47 items popped up. I then typed in Lithgow icon

and thought I had won the lottery. Over 500 hits!
After I got settled in to start bidding,turns out only 50 or so were militaria.

Gets the blood going when you think you have stumbled on an untapped resource.

Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle.
