My 2 MAS 49/56s
I had MAS49/56 in .308 and when it worked it was great, but usually it didn't, so I had to find an original one. Awhile back I purchased a MAS49/56 complete with with all the accessories, including a scope. It works great and I immediately liked it but it was very expensive. A local guy was selling one locally for very cheap so I picked it up today. Here is a few pictures of them. They are both in the G serial range but not close to each other. The one with the scope I have fired a few times and I have hit steel targets out to 600 yards with great consistency.

Very nice, wish I had a scope but they are out of my price range.

Yeah, the one with the scope came with all the accessories in the photos plus 5 magazines so it was pretty heavy. The only thing I own that I paid more for was the SVT-40. I have rung steel with my scoped mas 49/56 at 600 yards. I would not be surprised if it could go out to 800.

I had got one about 3 years ago for $175 but then sold it because I couldn't find ammo for it. Privi came out right around when I sold it. Great gun.

I have one off the ones converted to 7.62 NATO. Haven't had any issues with it. I love it

The 49/56 is one of my favorite mli surps. Especially with the APX scope.
