If you're looking for one that covers Mausers in general then Mauser Military Rifles of the World by Robert W.D. Ball is about as good as you could have, IMO.

There several good books on the K98k
- IF that is the Mauser you're asking about.
Probably the best of all is the current 2 vol set, soon to be 3, by Steves u. Karem. Titles are Karbiner 98k (covers the early years) u. Kriegsmodel. The next vol will cover rifles between these 2.
