I'm not the expert, but it looks good with a nice stock. Add a bayonet and a front sight cover. The Marine sight cover is oversized so you can shoot with it on and the front sight is still protected. I really enjoy shooting mine.

The bolt body marked "REM8620" is a Springfield Armory made replacement from late 1944, early 1945.

Ah-so, good to know on the bolt. I think I noticed the striker should have been blued on a Remington 1943 one. Are you thinking it's just the bolt handle, or the entire bolt/striker assembly? I can take pics if needed!
But it seems to work fine, and looks good on the rifle.

Also I have this striker assembly for sale: https://www.milsurps.com/showthread.php?t=57455 but may pull it and keep it. If you think it's possible to swap the Remington cocker knob, firing pin into my replacement bolt. If it's better to just look for a 1943 Remington bolt, or not to change anything, let me know. I will be shooting this gun, by the way, so want headspacing to be correct. If swapping things messes with that, I'll leave well enough alone. But if getting "more Remington" into the gun doesn't hurt shooting it, it seems better.
