Seeking help sourcing US Enfield foresight blades
G’Day fellow US Enfield addicts I’m hoping I might obtain some help from some/one of you, if I may please?
I’ve recently bought a Winchester P14 that was in pretty poor condition. It has since been cleaned and the stock restored to a serviceable condition, with the several fractures securely repaired.
First range test indicated that I need to increase the foresight blade considerably to adjust the MPI closer to a workable point.
I’m wondering if any one might have a spare foresight blade/s of sizes: 0.105, 0.120 or 0.135. Order of preference is reverse of incremental height as listed (yep, it’s that bad…)
Now I have had some helpful suggestions of building up existing blade with epoxy, but rather than go immediately to the last stop option, I thought it best to test whether a real maintenance repair could be achieved.
If you happen to have a spare blade (or several) in the size range mentioned, I’d be grateful to discuss with you. I’d invite you to PM me, please.
Thanks for your consideration and time.

I can't help you directly, but if you use the raised peep you can use that.
Also if you fill it in, then drill out tiny to large enough to see its more accurate.
You could do the same with the battle sight and bias it high to bring up the front.

I will check to see if I have a spare one of those heights. The problem will be getting to you especially through Aussie customs. The quickiest fix is do what the Danes did to their M1917 Enfields, machine off the blade and drill hole for a very small roll pin and cut down the roll pin to your required length. I will PM you on my blades. It make not be a specialically made for a Winchester 14 but one of the other manufacturers and a M1917. But they are all the same.
Cheers

Enfield P14 Rifle Front Sight Blade - WW1 - No3 Rifle - Various Sizes | eBay
You can try this guy. There is nothing in his ad that says no international shipping. However the highest sight he lists is a +0.090.
M1917 ENFIELD PART, FRONT SIGHT BLADE +1.52 | eBay
This guy has listed a 0.152. This ad also doesn't have any shipping restriction listed.
A little file work and you can be dialed right in. - Bill

Don't imagine it'll help in any way, but Gunparts Stateside list 'em at $4.30US each. $5.50AUD. Plus $4.95US shipping, I think. No mention of heights.
Might be worth an e-mail. 'ET' is Eastern Time. Yesterday to you, I think.

You could try Western Gun Parts here in Canada
too. They have no on-line catalogue though. Might be less government interference.

Numrich parts listings and I believe Springfield Sporters, indicate that the front sight blade for the P14 and M1917 rifles are the same blades used on the SMLE. Hope this helps.

They will fit but you need to add 60 thou to the calculation, i.e. a .000 L-E is equivalent to a +.060 P-14 one.

Here is the information on using Lee- Enfield front sights blades on the Pattern 1914 and M1917 rifles.
Adjustments for Lee Enfield sights being fitted to Pattern 14 and M1917.
Also fits the Pattern 14 and Model 1917 Rifles but the datum is 0.060" higher so a 0.045" becomes a 0.105" on these rifles.
Front
All Lee Enfield's utilized a dovetailed, blade type, front sight. (Note: SMLE and No4 front sights will not interchange because of different dovetail dimensions) There were nine different front sights available and were marked on top of their base with their sizes. They were: .090, .075, .060, .045, .030, .015, .0, -.015 and -.030.
If used the following heights are achieved.
-.030 = .030
-.015 = .045
.0 = .060
.015 = .075
.030 = .090
.045 = .105
.060 = .120
.075 = .135
.090 = .150
