US Model 1917 converted to .22 LR, second type
Again an odd ball where half of the receiver ring was removed to facilitate insertion of the .22 cartridge. No import marks and no British
commercial proof marks.

Really great share
What kind of marking is on the front of the Barrel?
Other parts match ID or mixed?

Thanks for sharing!! It looks like somewhere along in its life a Parker Hale PH5B rear sight and a target sling swivel was added to the front triggerguard screw. Probably someplace in Europe or the Commonwealth I imagine.

Barrel has faint US markings that are typical M1917. I really have not worried about matching anything given the nature of the conversion. Conversion work was not done in England
as there are no commercial British proofs present.
