M2 Carbine Double Size Classroom Cutaway Trainer
Every now and then I come across something that's just stupid cool but too rich for me to hang on to. This would be one of those items. I'm in it deep but after playing with it for a while there'll still be a few hundred dollars left for me to make. I found this in an antique mall today of all places.
Lot's of folks never even see one of these in person so I consider myself pretty fortunate. Enjoy!

Coincidentally, this seller had it labeled as a M14 trainer. So close. Haha.

Very cool. I'd have bought it too!

I just sold my Carbine 2X and my Bar 2X. They are very cool, but big and take up a lot of space.

I can definitely see that. It’s pretty dang lightweight but hard to move through the house just because it’s so big!

Neat piece, for sure not common. Most times in the past you'd see M1
Carbine but not the M2...that was in the '70's when you could find them in the window of surplus stores in Seattle.

I'm still shocked I found it in an antique store. In a little tiny booth maybe 7' on each side. Amidst all the doilies and candles was this monster. Right place, right time!

It really is quite educational. It’s a testament to the designers how simple the M2 modification is. There’s just nothing to it.
Neat to see it double size!
