    Lee Metford Cleaning Rod

I am looking for a cleaning rod got a Lee Metford Mk 1 rifle. A reproduction rod would be fine. Some years ago there was a fellow in Canadaicon making reproductions. Is he or anyone else making reproductions? Terry

There were some reproductions made here in Oz about fifteen years ago. Apparently the thread was even a match for the original "Enfield Special".

I'll ask around the usual suspects here in Brisbane.

There was a man that organized the Calgary gun show at Easter that used to make them and others. Must be he you speak of. There are a few members here that are from Calgary, maybe Ridolpho knows where to find him, if he's still around. He wasn't getting any younger...back then...

BAR: Yes, that is Hank Holm, former Canadianicon Forces Armourer, I believe. He can probably be tracked down via this link:Alberta Arms & Cartridge Collectors Association.. I had his e-mail on a previous computer but long gone now. Hank is still involved in running the big Spring Show here.

That's right, I just remembered his first name as I opened this thread....perhaps you can put this member in touch after the show. That's a bit but...at least get a contact for him. These guys would love it. There must be someone in his club that has his info...?

Just the point of being able to get a replacement that, you have to believe me will look correct is enough. If he was to open shop on this forum, he'd likely find it worth while.

Glad we got you sorted out.

True, I sent a couple things...but once you have these, you have them. They'll be about perfect.
