I always appreciate tributes like this.
Memory is important.
Plus...you also were on the right side of History.
Even though many in my family fought against the Allies in WWII, I wish to add my thanks to those who gave us the freedom we have been enjoying since then.
And a thought to our guys follows immediately...

Thank You Inblighty, we all have a huge amount of gratitude and respect owed to all the men and women of the Greatest Generation that saved our world from.... I was raised with men and women who were bigger than life heroes who answered the call when the world needed them. From several decorated uncles including a Distinguished Service Cross recipient to Aunts who worked in the Bomber Plants in Kansas City. The Incredible sacrifices of these people should be honored by all. We all owe them greatly. God Bless the USA
, the UK
and all other defenders of freedom and liberty. May our commitment to Partnership with the UK always remain strong.

There is a lot of support for Trump here today, contrary to what the press spin has on it, and Her Majesty The Queen enjoys his company too by the looks of the visit. She don't mince her words if she disagrees with something!!
Corbyn asked for a meeting and Trump turned him down............brilliant he's OK in my book
