Pac-Nor Barreling burns to the ground!
Some of you may know I used to work for Pac-Nor. I’m saddened by this news. A co-worker text me earlier today with some pictures and the owners wife Kathy sent me some videos. The owners son Casey and a worker, Steve, were installing a new machine and had the power off when Steve heard some popping in the break room and went to investigate. Smoke and heat forced him out and when he went to use the fire extinguisher it flames up and forced everyone out of the shop. Thank God no one was hurt but the shop was a total loss! Kathy told me Chris and Casey plan to rebuild.

These pictures We’re sent to me by my old co-worker and Kathy Dichter.

The white Toyota is Steve’s. His keys were in the gun vault and he couldn’t get to them. The fire melted his tail light and fender flare.

The voice is Kathy Dichter. You can here rounds going off in this video.

When watching the video on FULL SCREEN MODE you can really see how high the flames are.
I hated to hear the fear and frustration in her voice.
Buildings and machinery can be replaced, lives can't.
I hope they come back better than ever.
Thankful no one was hurt.
The Toyota will prolly have more damage not yet stated.
Please send along our Best Wishes to a fresh start.
@Bill,
I was just thinking about contacting you about what they were offering just yesterday. Mostly about their ceramic coatings, both oven and air dried and their temp limits.
After there name came up from a Rifle club shooting partner.
Edit To Add: A State LEO I shoot with was talking about some equipment their dept had Pac Nor coat with a ceramic coat but said it was only available to Law and Military. Him being in a rush, I didn't catch all the what alls and how too's but heard him say it was oven dried with a number of colors available. Had to do with Infrared and non thermal signatures or something or others.

Reason: Add Ceramic coat info

Sad to see that! I have used Pac-Nor barrels on my service rifles and had them barrel a clone M40. Fine work. Will be looking for them to get back in business.
