Anyone recognize the country of origin and date of these chargers. Galvanized steel with no markings.

They are Mk4 Chargers. Without makers mark its hard to give much more information.

I see no Holes S B . Do you have any other data or links to the Portuguese connection. This would be new information for me to look into. Being a sticky beak of course.

Bases are completely solid, no holes. No markings of any kind. They don't match any of the British patterns or the Italian ones.

A fellow LERA UK member identified them as Portuguese well over 15 years ago at the same time he & I were researching brass Enfield oil bottles.
Regretfully I don't have his research to share with you all.
