6.5 Arisaka

[Steyr Man 146]

Recently walked into 2 of these Arisakas Type 38`s 1 Full with Mum the other was a sporter sliced mum 4 lines ran through. I am Currently working up a load IMR 4320 and a 6.5 .264 speer gold dot. Anyone with experience have a starting load (headaches) looked over tons of info so far nothing on start plenty of warnings not to exceed 46 grains. My Mosins and Steyrs were so much easier hhahahahahahah

This is out of my old 45th Edition Lyman manual. Published in 1978. Formatting didn't work well.
Bullet Diameter Jacketed: .264"
Bullet Diameter Cast: .264” to .266”
Max Case Length: 1.988"
Trim-To Length: 1.978"
Max OAL w. Bullet: 2.940"
Test Barrel: 19" Japaneseicon Service Carbine. 1 in 9" Twist.
It's recommended that you slug the barrel as there can be variations.

"*" equals compressed charge.

Ah welcome I been looking for reload information seems obsolete these days. Or might just be I need give in and get an actual manual instead of internet hehehehehehe
