Mines missing the brush unfortunately as I started to collect oilers but there were so many for the Lee enfields I gave it up, have a nice Thompson one and the diminutive 30 carbine one.

I think those came first and then a few went to the early M1
rifles. My LL also had the early combination tool although the brush was shabby. The bore brush was nylon too, pre phosphor bronze...

My question, is this the first type of cleaning kit on the 1903 rifles ?
To my knowledge, that is the first type of cleaning kit for the M1903 rifle.
