U.S. soldiers of the 80th Infantry Division, take cover on the Rue du Pont Mouja during the Battle of Nancy. On 5 August 1944, the 80th Infantry Division landed at Utah Beach at Normandy.

In the Cadets there was a sergeant who was always going on about, if you were on the deck to remember to "KEEP YOUR BUM DOWN", which they appear to be doing in the image.
