    Romanian M73 Helmet

    Here is my Romanian M73 helmet in unissued condition but with a few scratches due to bulk storage. These were based on the Dutch M34 helmet design.

    Just got one of these today. Not in near as nice condition but pretty cheap at $25. Surplus store near a Cablelas I get my free guns from was at the WWII weekend today with a whole box of them.

    There doesn't seem to be too many of these helmets currently on the UKicon surplus market and I only found one UK vendor that had them. I don't know if Romania has retained some in storage or if there just wasn't that many to start with.
