The GCA Needs Your Help: Barnett Barrels

The Garand Collectors Association needs your help. We are working on an article regarding Gene Barrett turned and finished M1 and M1A/M14 barrels. Please send us photos of the barrel stampings in a format similar to what is attached. His barrels were Douglas blanks turned to standard, medium and/or heavy weight profiles. Some, like for Navy Match Armorer Don McCoy, were custom profiled. Please send large format photos to info@thegca.org. We would like any additional information that you may have. In their original state, the barrels would have been blued, though custom orders may have been different. The goal is to gather as many variations as possible for a future article.
