The "Cafe Rheinschlößchen" in Uerdingen, the GI's are firing on the town of Mündelheim on the other side of the Rhine, March 4, 1945. Although I don't see any brass casings? Regardless, another great picture! Thanks.

a little bit more research on the picture - 5 March the 95th inf div overcomes negligible resistance west of the Rhine Rriver the 378 regt drives north east from Uerdigen to Rheinhausen - the 379 regt eliminates pockets Near Adolf Hitler bridge in southern Uerdingen - There is today a restaurant that overlooks the bridge - see goggle earth -
