Mk.V parts

Hi Guys
I recently made a purchase from EFD of replacement parts for 2 MkV rifles.
I received the parts but they are made different than the original. 1st-The nose cap bands have an elevated band running around the outside of the band. The original is smooth. 2nd-The rear sight peep hole, the one that you would look through if the sight were in the lowered position, is not round as in the original but is round and has a small square extension on either side. My question is, Did Enfield issue theses parts in more than one version or is EFD just making crap parts and did not want to spend the time to do it right. My biggest complaint is the V marked safety's. This is just a joke. They took a regular safety and tried to grind the original markings off. Then they added groves. Both safety's have different amounts of groves. The V's are a joke. Looks like they used a nail to scribe it in. The V dose not line up in the original direction to the groves and the original markings can still be seen. Can someone let me know if there are more than 1 issue of the said parts?

I don't want to teach you to suck eggs, but have you asked EFD's owner about the issues with the parts? I purchased one of his complete MkV rifles some time ago and the parts are indistiguishable from originals, other than the fact they're new made.

I have purchased several parts from EFD and have been very happy with them, fit and finish have been fine.

Suggest you speak with them about the perceived problems before broadcasting to the whole world.
