    Pakistani made Sten Mk. V

I was asked if ein ever heard about pakistani made Sten Mk. Vs. He has an example stampes with "P.O.F. 65" and an "A00..." serial number. A Pakistani friend of mine is the opinion that the P.O.F. also made SMGs in the 60s but he don`t know the model. Has anyone any further Information?

I would like to see a photo of these markings. I suspect (and it is only a suspicion) that the serial is UF65A00.... but perhaps with POFicon added at a later date when it had been further overhauled. I have seen a lot of Mk5 guns with UFxxAxxxx numbers which have been applied to guns undergoing FTR where the original electo pencil number has been erased.

Hey........ don't scrmp oin the photos will you? I would say with more or less certainty that you have a re-worked Fazakerley made or certainly FTR'd Mk5 Sten gun

Can you post photos of any other markings. I agree with Peter that this is a reworked gun, I looked on line at other POFicon marked guns and they appear to be a mix of Faz and Theale bodied guns and if POF made new Mk5 guns I would expect them to be to the same pattern.
