Not a German one! nor any other off the top of my head, the closest i can think of are the ones with a penknife in the hilt
Show us! Are you sure you don't mean the Italian carcano or ???
Italian Model 1938 is the only folding bayonets I've ever seen. SKIP
There is also a Finnish folding bayonet, I believe a Model 1960. It's rather scarce.
Porterkids- Thanks, didn't know the Finns produced a folder. I have a Finnish M62 Bayonet, very different. no guard, plastic handle, and gray-green leather sheath. Have to see if I can find a photo of the folder. SKIP
I have a Turkish Mauser in 8mm, mdl 1935 with a folding bayonet fitted. The only one Ive seen. Did read about em however. I'll take pictures. Rifle s/n is 10. Gary
I sold of my bayonet collection back in the early 90's, I kick myself in the butt for it now. The folder is no longer around but it has always made me wonder where it came from. I know it was for a Mauser because the guy I sold it to put it on his. I had originally bought it at a pawn shop for $7.
