    1943 Tokarev SVT 40 Tula

I have been searching for a 1943 SVT 40 for a long time and a deal came up and I had to get it.

    I know it's a 1943 and by the Star it's a Tula but thats all I know.

Here is a picture with it's Comrades

    Thumbs up

    I've got a 40, 41, 42 & 43 SVT 40. Looking for a 44 & 45.
Only one is a shooter, the rest are wall decorations in the gun room.
While not my favorite rifle, I do like the SVT.
Here are 3 of them, don't have a photo of all 4.

I do not see any electro-pencil etching on the parts, the bolt Number matches the Rifle

the Stock is a AVT-40 (Full Auto) Stock so I am sure there was some refurb proccess

Someone likely turned the bolt white on your example. If I remember correctly it is simply a matter of putting the bolt in some vinegar (would have to look it up to remember how people do it).
