    K-bar sheath question

You look to be the guy to ask here.
What is a good indicator of a WW2 army issue K-Bar sheath?
Is it the flat staple type rivets, or the round rivets.
    Cheers

Thanks you, it's a little more like an accumulation gone rouge. For some reason it has taken on a life of its own, it slowly grows and feed's off of our operating expense. Much like the Mosin Nagants hanging on the ceiling in my work locker-SDH

WW II Ka-Bars came in with both rivets and stapled scabbard. They may be marked on the U.S.iconN./U.S.M.C. but, you will never see the globe and ball on a WW II scabbard. Early riveted scabbards that have partial or no liners between the front and rear are considered very early and bring a premimum, HTH-SDH
