    Remington Rand Slide Stop

I am looking at an early 1944 Remington Rand 1911A1 SN 15xxxxx. Should the slide stop be serrated or checkered or could it be either? No sign of re-arsenal but thought correct would be serrated.

Thanks Scott. It was advertised original and correct which I questioned when I saw the checkered stop.

That happens all the time, for all kinds of reasons. It pays to ask questions.
