    K98k dou 43 - all matching numbers - 100% authentic attic find

Sometimes you can still find a real WW2 time capsule. While renovating a 1920's house a few years ago this beautiful German K98kicon was found hidden in the attic floor. It was wrapped in a long leather coat.

When I got the opurtunity to buy it I didn' hesitate one moment an payed €450,00 with a big smile on my face.

It's a K98k made in 1943 by Waffen Werke Brünn in Bystrica, it is completely original, even the sight hood. I just cleaned it up a little to preserve it "as found".

I don't suppose the coat was a long green-black leather coat?
    Regards, Jim

I never got to see the coat Jim, only the rifle and the sling, but that was too decayed to save.
