    Gas cylinder screw

I just looked at the screw and I see it is marked with a "BMB" and also a "P". What do they stand for?

Breda Meccanica Bresciana As far as I know, "P" is a proof mark.

The P marking came out late is WWII, to designate "Poppet". It made it easier to tell them apart from the non-closing lock screws, which were being eliminated from use.
