I have just finished reading this book, which was first published in 1969.

It is terrifing, just how similiar the days are today to what they were in the 1920's and 30's. With the appeasement of the left and the agression of the radicals, inculding the terriost's, and the kow-towing to all kind of intrest groups, none of whom seem to have the interest of anything but them selves at heart.

Also similiar is the loss of respect that the leaders of our country have earned which is the same that Franceicon was going through in the 30's. There have even been the same type of failure of financial bodies as was occuring in France then as well. All of which lead to the loss of morale and faith in leaders, all of which lead to the debacle of 1940.

All in all, al good read, still instructive to day.

I amm also reading "On Borrowed Time", by Leonard Mosley, about Englandicon in 1939. I will write aboiut that book when I am finished it.
