What holster is this?

I'm new here and hope someone may be able to help.
Can anyone tell me what the USMC holster is?

It actually looks like a Hunter holster that's been marked and butchered...the snap isn't what you'd see on an issue holster. Even an early one. The marking though...?

USMC contract Colt revolver? Even if it is, I'd have to go with browningautorifle as regards the holster. Unless my friend tells me otherwise. But I don't know when that will be. Might be several days. He had a Marine Corps contract Colt .38 a few years back.
