Danish Eddystone: your opinion needed

Dear fellows, I've been offered with a nice Eddystone M1917, 1.333.000 range and "E 9/18" barrel. It has the s/n also on bolt and stock, so I guess she's a Danish one; all the parts are E marked and blued.
What do you think about it by a collector's point of view? Is it still a collectible one or just a shooter?

Hard to tell w/o more detail. If it's reasonably intact you can do both! "Just Shooters" are becoming more scarce as many folk go to great lengths to "restore" sporters to their military configuration. I'm guessing if there's no non military mods, it has a fair amount of collectbility.

The British received a million M1917's in 1940. Could well be British. Nice M1917's are hard to come by, lots of beaters around.

Thanks... Unfortunately I have just these pics of the rifle. The barrel is E 11-18, and there is an eagle/inspector stamp on the stock, rear the triggerguard.

Stock doesn't look Eddystone though, Winchester or Remington perhaps?

Thanks to you all for your inputs About the stock maker, I guess mdoerner doesn't like the color, right? The seller stated there is an "E" on the tip (front, under barrel): what I have to check to be sure this is Eddystone made?

The Bolt cutout on the Eddystone stock is fairly distinctive, its very blocky whereas the Winchester and Remington stock cutouts were a scallop shape.

It should have an "E" at the tip, but the finger guard cuts and the relief around the bolt handle do not look like an Eddystone stock. Any photos of the stock tip?
